David Marl
David Marl trained as a stained glass artist at Kingston School of Art & the Royal College of Art. For many years he worked as a teacher, continuing to paint & to write, co-authoring several children’s books.
In his retirement he became ordained as an Anglican priest and divides his time between serving and painting. His work is a continuation of that wonderful English visionary spirit, following in the footsteps of his influences; Blake, Palmer and Stanley Spencer.
The Wonderbook is publishing a selection of David Marl’s work as limited edition, signed, archival quality prints. Each image is reprinted on a 400x300mm piece of etching cotton rag 315gsm paper, with the image sized at 245x175mm (slightly larger than the original painting). Each title of the series will be limted to 24 editions and will be signed by the artist and numbered accordingly.
